As the Cape Horn Trail becomes an official addition to the network of trails in the Gorge, much work remains to be done. Over the next few years, overlooks, underpasses, and bridges will be built , sections of trail will be rerouted, native plants will be reintroduced, and invasive weeds will be pulled. The Forest Service does not have sufficient funds to take on this task alone. We are committed to being an active partner in helping to develop the Cape Horn Trail into a world-class hiking destination. CHC invites you to join us in helping to create and maintain this phenomenal trail system.
